Video Poker TermsBelow we have created a glossary of common poker terms, we hope this will help you to understand, any terms which may be new to you when visiting our site. Complete Hand - A hand that is defined by all five cards - a flush, straight, full house, four of a kind or a straight flush. Deck - All the cards used in the game. Also referred to as a Pack. Denomination - The denomination of each card is its number from two through ten, or is Jack, Queen, King or Ace. Deuces - Deuces are cards that have a value of 2 such as the 2 of Spades or the 2 of hearts. Draw - To request new cards from
the Deck. Kicker - The unpaired card
used to determine the better of two near-equivalent hands.
Quads - Four of a Kind
Rank - The numerical value assigned to a card. Suit - Any of the four sets in a deck of cards.Example:
Trips - Three of a Kind.
Wild Card - A Wild Card is a card that can be any value the player wants it to be to make up the best possible have. So for example in deuces wild the deuces can be used in place of any other card allowing you to make up a better hand.
